Sync Strike uses an LM1881 to extract sync information from the composite video signal of a suitable RGB SCART source. RGB, cleaned C-Sync and separate V-Sync are available for further processing. The line frequency remains unchanged.
01 / SYNC
Process the sync signal
The integrated LM1881 separates sync information from video, providing C-Sync and V-Sync.
02 / CONNECTIONS
SCART input, accessible outputs
An RGB SCART input, HD15 output and screw terminals provide signal access for suitable scalers and custom projects.
03 / AUDIO
Separate audio outputs
Left and right audio are available at the RCA outputs, independently of the video processing path.

What you need
A suitable RGB SCART source with compatible sync/video.
A scaler or monitor supporting the output’s 15 kHz RGB/sync signals and levels.
A suitable power source. External operation specifies regulated 5 V with at least 0.5 A; SCART-powered operation depends on the source.
Connection & setup
Compare the input/output signals with the requirements of the downstream device.
With equipment powered off, connect RGB SCART and suitable output wiring. Connect the RCA audio outputs if needed.
Select the power source with the switch. Use SCART pin 8 only if the source provides the required supply.
